Sustainability Advisor
A co-founder of Sustainability consultancy Article 13, which offers strategic advice on risk associated with business responsibility, Neela is an expert in sustainability and good governance and has worked on initiatives across a range of sectors -- energy (including nuclear), construction, food, finance, waste, water and pharmaceuticals. She advises on current risks in the social, environmental and ethical arenas, and how possible future outcomes may affect business strategy, and has detailed knowledge of the issues in these industries: policy movements, legislation, key stakeholders, areas of risk and where companies need to engage, and opportunities to gain competitive edge.
Neela actively engages people in sustainability strategies, engaging with the board to demonstrate how to successfully combine ethical motivations with commercial necessity, offering comprehensive, forward looking advice that results in positive change. Combining a strong ethical motivation with hard-headed commercial realism, she helps clients achieve the change in attitude and behaviour needed to help ‘refit’ corporations and government bodies to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving landscape.
